West Centre

Leeds City Learning Centres have a wide range of specialisms and technology here at Leeds West CLC we have built up an enviable reputation for the support and delivery of media across the curriculum from Maths to Science to History.  We are an Apple Regional Training Centre for Creativity in the Classroom which means that we benefit from the latest Apple technology and the support of Apple Distinguished Educators in the delivery of our programmes.

 

Based on two sites at Wortley and at West Leeds High Leeds West CLC is unique in the country.  Facilities include a television production studio with auto cue, chromokey, a professional lighting rig and a virtual studio mixing desk.  We also have a portable radio production unit, a recording studio and the latest print and animation software.

 

Our aim is to provide the highest standard of education for all using creative approaches to all programmes on the curriculum.  We are keen to talk to all teachers to see how we can maximise the achievements of students and to ensure that everyone enjoys their education and gains their full potential.
